Steps in reporting information to The Vuvuzela Hotline (Pty) Ltd.
Step 1
Let your conscience be your guide
If you observed something you feel is wrong…
If you became aware of some illegal or unethical actions…
You don't have to be a powerless victim or bystander!
You may feel better if you do something about it.
You will feel better if you do the right thing!
What is the right thing?
Step 2
Report it to the Vuvuzela Hotline
Don't endanger yourself! Don't confront criminals directly!
Use public phones/cellphones for added peace of mind. Don't phone from work if you are scared your call may be traced back to you.
Use Postnet fax facilities, internet café's, library facilities to send e-mail more anonymously.
Leave it to the professionals…
Report it to the Vuvuzela Hotline
You can remain completely anonymous.
Your safety is our reason for being!

- Do you know if there was any other witnesses? Can you provide their details?
- Are the unethical or illegal actions still going on? When do you expect it to take place again?
3. How did you discover this information?
4. Did you report your concerns to anyone in your organisation?
- Who did you report it to?
- When?
- Is it being investigated? Is anything being done?
5. Are you being intimidated or victimised by any of the alleged perpetrators? Or anyone else?
